Modern turbo engines live and die by boost control — and the factory diverter valve is often the weakest link in an otherwise strong setup.

The OEM plastic, diaphragm-based valve used on Volkswagen Group 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen 4, Gen 3, 3B, & EA113 engines is designed for quiet operation and low manufacturing cost – not long-term performance for people like us! Under increased boost, heat, and repeated load cycles, the factory diaphragm can deform, leak, or fail entirely – resulting in inconsistent boost delivery, reduced throttle response, and power that quietly slips away.

Replaces the failure-prone OEM diaphragm with a precision-machined piston for reliable, repeatable operation.

Faster valve actuation helps maintain boost pressure between gear changes, improving throttle response and drivability.

Designed to cope with higher boost pressures found on remapped or track-driven vehicles without leaking or sticking.
