Why choose
R360 20″ alloys?

RacingLine’s 20″ R360 takes all the attributes of our race wheels of strength, lightness – then adds in a large helping of 20″ style.

  • Using advanced flow-forming technology, the aluminium barrel is spun under heat and pressure, refining its grain structure – giving exceptional strength yet light weight.
  • Three luxurious finishes:
    // Gloss Gunmetal Grey
    // Gloss Bright Silver
    // Gloss Black
  • At 11.7kg (25.8lb), each R360 weighs up to 2kg less than the OEM wheels, yet packs a 700kg load rating.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I need to make any modifications (spacers, hub rings, etc) to fit them?

The R360 20″ wheels are designed with a hub bore and offset (ET44) to suit many MQB & MQB Evo platform vehicles with minimal or no modification.
However, clearances can change depending on your (brake size, aftermarket suspension, lowered ride height) etc.
We recommend checking:

  • Brake clearance (especially with larger calipers or when using big brake kits other than RacingLine)
  • Wheel arch / tyre clearance (especially when lowered or running wide tyres)
What sizes, and what tyre size should I run with 8.5×20″ wheels?

For tyre sizing, it depends on your vehicle and ride height, but common metrics for 20″ fitments on MQB vehicles are in the 245/30 R20 to 255/30 R20 range (subject to clearance and wheel-arch geometry). Always check with your tyre supplier or fitter for an optimal size for your setup.

How do I maintain and care for these wheels?

To keep your wheels looking and performing well:

  • Clean regularly using pH-neutral wheel cleaner to avoid damage to finish.
  • Avoid harsh acidic or alkaline cleaners — especially important for Gloss finishes.
  • Always ensure proper torque of bolts/nuts after installation and after any track use or hard driving sessions.
Can I use these wheels for track days or performance use?

Yes — the R360 20″ alloy wheels are constructed with performance in mind: flow-formed barrels, heat treatment, and a 700 kg load rating make them suitable for both spirited road use and occasional track days.
However, if you use your car frequently on track, you should still monitor for any wheel run-out, checking for bends or cracks after heavy use. Also ensure appropriate tyres and suspension setup are used.

Do these wheels affect the road legal status?

Fitting aftermarket wheels may affect your vehicle’s insurance, depending on your country and local regulations.
In Australia, you should ensure your fitment:

  • Meets the local road rules (e.g., clearances, protrusion, correct tyre size, load rating).

If in doubt, consult your vehicle manufacturer or local authority. The R360 wheels carry a 700 kg load rating and are produced to meet and exceed OEM standards — designed with quality in mind.
